360° media installation projection rotunda

An extraordinary, permanent media installation is being created at the State Museum of Hanover: the Projection Rotunda. 360-degree panoramas unfold on the approximately six-meter-wide, circular interior walls, completely enveloping visitors and giving them the feeling of being right in the middle of the action. The installation presents interactive content controlled live via a web browser. High-resolution projections create a dynamic world of experience where art, technology, and space merge into a cohesive whole. The rotunda thus becomes a stage for digital storytelling that can flexibly evolve and respond to new content. Through intuitive interactions with the digital elements, visitors enter into an ongoing visual dialogue. They move beyond the role of mere observers and become active participants in the experience. This unique installation invites visitors to rediscover the museum space and experience the connection between people, culture, and digital art in an immediate way.

The press coverage was very positive. The projection offers a truly immersive visitor experience. Thank you so much for your support! «
