Realization of 2 building-specific projections on the new building of the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld

TNL accompanied the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (FH Bielefeld) on two milestones with illuminations: one for the new building and one for its 50th birthday. TNL put the new building of the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences in the spotlight for the open day. A 3D video mapping show with a projection width of 70 meters underlined the uniqueness of the new appearance. The abstract structure of the elemental facade was the starting point for the panorama projection and its world of perception: the elements of the facade were brought to life and opened up a new perspective on the building. At the same time, the complexity of the illusion also became a symbol for the new building, which now unites all Bielefeld departments under one roof. To kick off the anniversary year, TNL produced an atmospheric 3D video mapping starring building effects with numbers, data and facts as well as the FH logos, the font and colors of the corporate design. The building projection took place every evening over a period of 2 weeks in compliance with pandemic regulations.

On the occasion of the opening of the university building, we were looking for a way to put the new building in the limelight during the open house day. On recommendation, we got in touch with TNL, whose references on its homepage were convincing. The effect of the projection, which was specially adapted to our facade, amazed the audience.
