Interplay of video and laser projections for the presentation of historical events on the occasion of Plauen900

For the 900th anniversary of the city of Plauen, the Altmarkt became the backdrop for a 3D video mapping including a laser show, which transformed the old town hall and its tower into oversized screens. The city's landmark has always been a projection screen for the city's history, and its architecture was included in the light installation. Building-specific effects created with video projections supplemented the image motifs presented using laser technology. The multimedia show led through the 9 centuries of Plauen's history. In addition to typical Plauen motifs such as Heinrich von Plauen, father and son, the Plauen peak and the Wende monument, the Plauen900 logo was also on display. The implementation of the project was made possible in close cooperation with a large number of sponsors.
