Design and implementation of a large-scale 3D video mapping on the facades of the Innsbruck Hofburg and the Hofkirche at the turn of the year

The facade projection of the Innsbruck Hofburg and the Hofkirche was part of a walk through light, which, after its successful premiere last year, created a magical atmosphere in the city again on New Year's Eve. The video projections, which took place in an extended version, turned prominent buildings into a spectacular backdrop for fascinating worlds of images and sounds on 9 evenings around the turn of the year. The 3D video mapping, which decorated the large, monumental facade of the Hofburg and Hofkirche, scenically brought the inside of the building to the outside under the motto 'Inside Out'. On December 31, the media installations were expanded with a stage show on the square in front of the buildings. Thousands of people celebrated the beginning of the New Year that night with live music and digital fireworks.
