City Festival Church Tower Projection Bad Hersfeld
3D Video Mapping

Corona compatible continuation of the 1200 year old tradition of the Lullus Festival in Bad Hersfeld

The tower of the Bad Hersfeld town church, which otherwise stands in the middle of the Lullus Festival, became the main actor this year: A 3D video mapping by TNL staged the building and let the virtual fire, which stands for the 1200-year tradition of the folk festival, be visible from afar. Two laser projectors enabled a building-specific facade projection from all four sides of the Bad Hersfeld landmark. The audience was able to spread around the city to watch the video show. With the projection show the city of Bad Hersfeld, as the organizer of the Lullus Festival, was able to preserve the tradition of the oldest public festival in Germany in an innovative way.

Thanks and respect! That worked out smoothly! «
