Installation of a 3D video mapping on the historic imperial palace for the anniversary of the city of Goslar

Anyone who was out and about in Goslar in the evening hours in spring 2022 was amazed at the versatility of the Imperial Palace, which was put in the limelight with projections. The city took the anniversary year as an opportunity to bring 1100 years of city history to life with a 3D video mapping. The show with a projection width of 60 meters showed Goslar's exciting and eventful past and present. 3D animation and building effects were perfectly matched to the impressive medieval secular building. A highlight of the audiovisual show was the participation of the citizens of Goslar: They could upload portraits of themselves to the Internet beforehand, which appeared as a mosaic on the facade in the finale of the installation and then formed into the city logo. The city anniversary became a very special and personal experience under the motto "We are Goslar".

For the 1100th anniversary of the city of Goslar, we have created a milestone in terms of emotional visualization of historical content together with the company TNL. We managed to get the anniversary year off to a perfect start, inspiring and emotionally touching thousands of people in front of the historic Kaiserpfalz.
