Lighting of the Herford city hall on the occasion of its 100th birthday

TNL installed an interactive facade projection with precisely matching still images adorning the Herford city hall in its anniversary year. The building-specific static video mapping took place over a period of two months. On the historical facade, portraits of important hereditary figures as well as of citizens were portrayed every evening. For the constantly changing collage, locals could upload pictures, which could be exchanged again and again with a customer-specific template. The participation of the population through the integration of their image content kept the project very lively over the entire projection period and strengthened the public perception of the town hall as a "house of the citizens".
