illumination of churches

Idea

Even before the invention of electric light, the atmosphere inside a church was characterized by the magical play of colors created by the sun's rays, which shone through colorful windows into the building and enriched the space with light accents. Projection technology offers the opportunity to capture this very special atmosphere and transform the interior with an immersive installation that encourages lingering and introspection. Another option is to convey your message with the power of light through eye-catching facade illumination. An outdoor lighting installation is an ideal way to convey the charm of a place of worship into its surroundings. We look forward to your ideas!

Benefits

  • Positive image impact
  • Increased public awareness
  • Conveys your message to the outside world

Implementation

Numerous places of worship have already taken advantage of the fascinating combination of sacred architecture and innovative technology. The individual character of the building forms the basis for an impressive installation. Implementation begins with the creation of a customized 3D model of the area that serves as the screen for the projection. The design of the lighting installation and the technical planning are developed in close collaboration. As a result, we first produce a simulation that cinematically anticipates the entire project and allows for coordination. Once everyone is satisfied, the projection is transferred to your building. The compact and energy-efficient technology blends unobtrusively into the surroundings and is very efficient in terms of energy consumption. My expectations have been exceeded. The illumination of the portal of the Cologne Cathedral enchanted the visitors and led the project SilentMOD to success. It was great what TNL visualized on the cathedral. The projections have given the whole project a further public dimension. I would like to express my appreciation to Matthias Strobl and his entire team. The high level of professionalism and flexibility in relation to the evolving requirements made the collaboration wonderful. «
